Does anyone have any idea if these exercises are bad for the back? I had been doing them two or three times a week (my baby’s nearly 2 years now, it’s time I got my stomach in shape!) until I explained them to a friend who said she thought they might be bad for the back? I like this workout but don’t want to damage myself!
how long after delivery do you have to wait before starting these exercises, assuming you worked out before the pregnancy?

Erin, thank you! I had a baby 14 months ago and I’m only now getting serious about getting my belly in order again. I am no longer over weight, just a bit flabby in the stomach area!
You mention doing cardio in another post along with this video. Is 2.5 hrs of badminton x2 a week enough along with this video every second night or so to tighten up my stomach?
I find that I am actually beginning to LIKE exercising these days, it’s fantastic, I used not like it at all!

you should probably mention that the workout isn’t recommended for those with diastasis. very important to avoid developing hernias.

you can do them, and work up to a more challenging workout. just do them anytime you can fit them in… before breakfast in the morning is the best time to work out in general though.

I had my 2nd baby 18 months back.I had flat tummy till last month and was fitting in all jeans which I got 10 yrs back.But recently I see my tummy coming out and find it hard wearing those jeans.I wanted to know can these workouts help me get that flat tummy even after 18 months later having my baby.If so please do let me know after how many hrs of breakfast/lunch I should do them.I am waiting for ur reply.

use this video to tighten the tummy 3-4x a week, then progress to a harder video. but add cardio to your workout as well. you must be able to burn fat as you are strengthening! good luck!
Hi Erin! Really love your video… I wish I came across this sooner.. Its been 11 months since I had my baby, and my abs and below are a mess! I am petite in size, but my tummy is the only thing sticking out and making me look out of proportion! If I did this exercise would it still work? And would I still need to do it 2-3x a week or everyday?
