Horror books and the Reason we all Love Them – electric fan heater

Horror books & the Reason we adore Them

I’ve been a horror books electric fan electric fan heater for many years and for many reasons. One of the main reasons I love horror books so much is because I enjoy being scared. And when you’re scared from a good novel it’s not the typical kind of scare. In movies you get the scares where you feel like you’re going to have a heart attack wondering when the monster is going to jump out. Granted, there have been horror movies in the past where I’ve left feeling disturbed, but if it’s a good writer there’s nothing that can quite move me emotionally fear factor wise as good horror books.
However, Hollywood has been learning as they go along. There have been recent films that have really given the industry a boost. Particularly movies like The Mist, 1408 and a solid array of zombie flicks like Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later and Zombieland. If you watch the movies at home, they’re still scary but not nearly the same effect. Horror books are continually getting better and more entertaining. The word processor revolution was huge, but let us not forget the internet! The internet has brought us wave after wave of new and talented horror books writers. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Well, some say it puts so much content out there that everything sort of starts melding together. Publishers like Dark Regions Press are keeping up the good fight. However, while ideas may be getting rehashed, it’s astonishing how different two writing styles really can be in the English language. The way a writer develops his characters and plots varies greatly from one horror books writer to the next. Thus, I believe the flood of new material is more of a positive than a negative. For lest we forget, more competition equals raising the bar on quality. This means writers will have to write even more great material to be published and put in the spotlight. What does this mean for the readers? Much greater quality reading. This is something all horror books electric fan electric fan heaters can celebrate.
